Karlsruhe is a hub for ICE, IC (InterCity), and EC (EuroCity) links and lies directly on the ICE route from Hamburg to Basel via Frankfurt.

The TGV takes you from Paris to Karlsruhe in approximately three hours. The train connections from London take about 7 hours, from Prague 9hours.

Karlsruhe is located on a major road and rail intersection and can be reached quickly and easily from all directions via the A5, A8, or A65 motorways to all parts of the city.

 Or arrive at the Frankfurt/Main international airport and take a high-speed train from the adjoining ICE station to Karlsruhe in exactly one hour.

Trams or the urban railway system provide your connection to the city centre. The Gospelkirchentag’s pass also serves as your pass for public transport in Karlsruhe.

Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (approx. 30 minutes by road), the international airports of Frankfurt/Main, Stuttgart, and Strasbourg (50–60 minutes by car).
