Your journey

Climate-friendly mobility

The Gospelkirchentag values climate-friendly mobility. That is why we compensate the flights of our international artists and we encourage you to travel by train or coach if possible. Once you have reached Hannover, please use public transportation to get around - it's included in your festival pass during the festival.

Arrival by plane

Hannover is well connected. The airport Hannover offers direct connections to London, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Istanbul, Budapest, Vienna, Zurich, Barcelona and Paris.

Travel by car/bus

Hannover's inner city is an environmental zone - you may enter Hanover's inner city ring only with a green environmental badge.

Park and ride:

There are about 6,100 parking spaces for cars in the traffic area of Greater Hannover Transport (GVH). All Park + Ride facilities can be used free of charge, and are open 24 hours. The Park + Ride facilities are located in the immediate vicinity of the breakpoints and transfer facilities and thus facilitate the change from private cars to public transport.
